  1. Thanks for sharing this article. Right now I actually find myself in a crossroads. Between keeping my self in this safe/familiar path or throwing caution to the wind… Hope I’ll find my way…

  2. Thank you for the post Masa,
I had an awakening 2 years ago when I suddenly lost my job. I had to move across the US from the west coast back to the east coast where I grew up to find a job. I had to move suddenly again when my basement flooded. Moving twice in under 2 years I realized half the things I was moving I never used. Now I live with far fewer things, and almost no furniture. My goal now is to save enough money to move back and eventually to retire from corporate work as soon as possible. I want to have a house where I can grow native foods like mesquite, tepary beans, and prickly pear, harvest rainwater, and generate solar power in the American Southwest. Knowing this is my goal helps keep me focused and before I do anything I ask if this will help me achieve my goal. I should be ready to move back in 2 years.

    1. That sounds amazing Dominic! Such a clear and inspiring goal you have 🙂 I believe everything happens for a reason, so it sounds like this unfortunate path has led you to somewhere quite wonderful. Thanks for sharing 🙂

  3. My husband and I are 70 years old and have been plant based for a year. I have cleared many “treasured” items from our house. I am finding that the holidays are providing me an opportunity to clear out the programming of what we are supposed to do. I appreciate this post.It is so easy to backside into old habits of we don’t have a clearly defined path. Thank you. Of course it came at the right time!

  4. Thank you for such a thought provoking post, this is something I really need to work on, I know it’s important but I just don’t ever seem to find the time for it, I have to make time!
